Leeann – The Heart Behind Our Kitchen!
We are thrilled to shine this month’s Staff Spotlight on Leeann, AKA Nana, our amazing daycare cook who fills our kitchen – and our hearts- with warmth, care, and delicious meals every day!
Leeann has been part of our daycare family for over 20 years, and her dedication to nourishing our children goes far beyond the kitchen. From crafting balanced, kid-friendly menus to accommodating allergies and following our CACFP program guidelines. Nana brings love and intention to every bite she prepares.
What sets Leeann apart is not just her cooking skills- it’s the way she connects with the children. She always greets them with a smile, and a “what’s going on kiddo?!”. We surely are going to miss her, “Good morninggg!” to everyone that walks in.
